The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is actively recruiting for Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists

As a VA Psychiatrist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary care team treating our nation’s heroes.  The department provides a full range of mental health services including outpatient treatment in a multidisciplinary team, telehealth, primary care mental health integration, post-traumatic stress disorder specialty treatment, geriatric psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, addiction, mental health intensive case management, psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery programs, comprehensive homeless programs, peer support services, vocational rehabilitation programs, domiciliary based programs, and inpatient programs to include emergency psychiatry, community living center, consultation-liaison psychiatry, a 24-bed inpatient psychiatry unit, and an active ECT service. Clinical training programs exist for medical students, psychiatry residents, and psychology interns.  Candidates with academic interest and experience are preferred.

Current unrestricted licensure from any state is accepted.  Salary is based upon qualifications and experience.
