ORGANIZATIONAL PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

Embrace the Sanctuary Model of Care as a guide for forming and maintaining a Therapeutic Community that promotes Safety and Non-Violence as the basis for the way we help people recover from trauma.

JOB PURPOSE:

To meet the needs of individual clients and their families to ensure understanding of evaluations, recommendations including prescribed psychotropic medications and specific mental health disorders relevant to the client.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: A graduate of an American Medical Association approved and recognized medical school or school of osteopathy at the doctorate level. Board Eligible or Board Certified in area of specialty.

Experience: Have a minimum of two (2) years of psychiatric residency or equivalent accepted by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Shall have a minimum of four (4) years in child , adolescent, and adult practice experience and one (1) year of which was spent in a child/adolescent, mental health inpatient/partial hospitalization/out client, or residential treatment setting on a full time basis, clinically supervised/managed by qualified physicians.

Credentials: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) Board Eligible or Board Certified for child/adolescent Psychiatry with a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate. Registered with National Register of Health Service Providers as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D./D.O.), Psychiatrist.
