SEEKING AN AZ BOARD CERTIFIED/ELIGIBLE PSYCHIATRIST
The VVGC is a not-for-profit, JCAHO accredited, community mental health clinic with offices in Cottonwood, Sedona and Camp Verde. The VVGC recognizes that the life span of person with a serious mental illness is frequently decreased by chronic medical conditions which are untreated or inadequately treated for a multitude of reasons. As such, we have developed an on campus integrated Primary Care program. In addition, the Verde Valley Guidance Clinic has a Level II Dual Diagnosis Long Term In-Patient Unit to treat women with co-occurring disorders who have not been successfully treated by shorter-term treatment.
This full-time position works primarily with persons that have a serious mental illness, completing psychiatric evaluations and patient medication management visits, and works with Primary Care medical staff. Our patients also have the support of Therapists, Case Managers, Behavioral Health Technicians, as well as Recovery Specialists.
