As such, new treatment options are under investigation, including the novel class of glutamatergic drugs. So what’s new with this class of medications? We invited Dr Gerard Sanacora, Professor of Psychiatry and Director of Yale Depression Research Program at Yale School of Medicine, to talk about targeting glutamate in the quest for novel treatments for mood disorders.
