Seeking Full Time Psychiatrist for Chief of Psychiatry

VA St. Louis Healthcare System is seeking a full time psychiatrist to function as Chief of Psychiatry responsible for the medical direction of Psychiatry Service by preparing and recommending policies, plans, professional standards and educational activities pertaining to Psychiatry. The individual should have strong clinical, administrative and educational expertise. A strong research background is beneficial but not essential. The VA St. Louis Healthcare System is a two division tertiary care system that offers comprehensive mental health treatment. The Chief of Psychiatry is responsible for the management of a large staff of approximately 30 psychiatrists. The Chief of Psychiatry also works closely with our affiliated St. Louis University Department of Neurology and Psychiatry and is expected to hold a faculty appointment. .
