We are seeking an experienced Florida Licensed Psychiatrist to perform Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management for child/adolescent and adult clients in a 43-bed Acute Care Inpatient Unit (28 Crisis Stabilization beds and 15 Voluntary Detox beds). Position provides medical leadership via a multi-disciplinary team approach consisting of Psychiatrists, RNs, BHTs, Physician Assistants/ARNPs and Clinicians/Resource Coordinators. Additionally, this position provides psychiatric consultation and occasional/case by case psychiatric evaluations and/or medication management to our 18-bed Adult Substance Abuse Residential Program. Additional compensation is provided for required weekend on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
This dynamic and skillful Psychiatrist must demonstrate the ability to treat Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Co-occurring clients, have experience treating adults, children and adolescents and possess the skills to document in an Electronic Medical Record. Current Florida license in good standing, Board Certification, Florida MA/MC numbers, and NPI# required. CAQH# preferred.
