Memorial Hospital of Tampa and Town and Country Hospital -- Tampa, FL

A well-trained, BC General Adult Psychiatrist is needed to join another solo practitioner in a high volume practice. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a growing practice that has two locations. The recruit will be working out of both offices and attending patients at both Memorial Hospital and Town and Country Hospital.

• Hospital supported one year Income Guarantee

• Outpatient and Inpatient care covering admissions, orders and discharge summaries

• Call schedule will be 1:2

• Ideal candidate is a physician that has demonstrated academic excellence, but most importantly possesses the qualities we value -- integrity, humility and character--which we consider necessary to become a successful physician leader in today’s society

Memorial has a 36 bed psychiatric unit with an average census of 25. Town and Country has a 20 bed psychiatric unit with an average census of 14. Payer mix is spread among Medicare, Commercial Insurance, Self-pay and Medicaid.

Memorial and Town and Country Hospitals have provided comprehensive healthcare services for residents of Tampa and the surrounding community for over 30 years. Recent renovations and the addition of state-of-the-art technology has kept both hospitals modernized to provide high-quality medical care, including emergency medicine, diagnostic procedures, surgery, outpatient therapies and acute care for hospitalized patients.

The City of Tampa, located on the west coast of Florida, is the largest city in Hillsborough County, and the third most populous city in Florida. Tampa's economy is founded on a diverse base that includes tourism, agriculture, construction, finance, health care, government, technology, and the port of Tampa. As the western gateway to Florida’s High Tech Corridor, in Tampa you’ll find affordable business and living costs, a vibrant cultural community and nationally recognized schools with excellent educational opportunities. Tampa has a diverse selection of great restaurants and some of the state's best attractions, including the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and Lowry Park Zoo. Of particular note is new Tampa Bay History Center and the recently opened Tampa Museum of Art, both are state of the art facilities honoring our community's history, heritage, and commitment to the arts.
