Psychiatrist needed for an Assertive Community Treatment Team

A psychiatrist is needed for an Assertive Community Treatment Team one hour north of Atlanta.

The team works with adults who have a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in their homes and community. Will provide psychiatry services as well as medical assessment and treatment, clinical supervision, education and training of team members, development maintenance and supervision of medication. Must be board certified or board eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Must have experience in providing treatment to persons with SPMI. Must be willing to travel throughout 4 counties to provide in home/community services. Must be willing to take 24 hour on-call duties.
