Associate Medical Director
Chicago Lakeshore Hospital is a high quality, private behavioral healthcare system located on the north side of the city. We provide all levels care for adults, adolescents and children with psychiatric and addictions disorders. The Hospital is also a training site for many fine institutions of learning including the Departments of Psychiatry for the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois.
Aurora Chicago Lakeshore Hospital is currently in search of an Associate Medical Director. The Associate Medical Director shall be under the direction of the Hospital Medical Director and shall provide leadership for the provision of adult services of the Hospital, in addition to providing direct patient care services to assigned patients. The Associate Medical Director oversees all clinical aspects of adult services of the hospital system.
The Associate Medical Director assists in the development of administrative regulations as they pertain to Adult Services and the overall effective management of the Hospital. The Associate Medical Director will also assist in the drafting and implementation of policies, rules and regulations of the Hospital.
The Associate Medical Director will collaborate with clinical program management, the Medical Staff, professional and support staff, and members of the community.
General responsibilities for the Associate Medical Director would fall under administrative, clinical, community relations and quality assurance.
Board certification in General Psychiatry is required. Specialty training/certification in Addictions or Geriatric psychiatry preferred.
