STAFF PSYCHIATRIST – VA CENTRAL WESTERN MASSACHUSSETTS (VACWM) HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (HCS)

 

Opportunities for Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrists to join the expanding Mental Health Service at the VACWM HCS currently exist within inpatient and outpatient settings in various sites (Main Medical Center in Leeds, MA and Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Greenfield, Pittsfield, Springfield, Worcester & Fitchburg, MA). VACWM HCS is active and diversified and offers a full realm of inpatient and outpatient Mental Health services, including specialized services in PTSD, and Substance Use Disorder, Acute and Chronic Mental Illness, and Homelessness services. VACWM has an active affiliation with the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) which attracts more than $200 million in research funding annually, and its innovative programs are the centerpiece of the Massachusetts life science initiative. Possibilities for faculty appointments exist with appointments/ranks contingent on review by UMass.
