Quiz on Suicide
March 18, 2011
During what season is suicide most common among college students? Is sever suicidal ideation in girls associated both with the victim and the perpetrator of bullying? Are older men with substance abuse disorders at greater risk of suicide than younger men? These questions and more.
by Natalie Timoshin | March 24, 2011 11:26 AM EDT A is correct. Although "severe" suicidal ideation may not be common per se, in the context of bullying, the risk for suicide has been found to be increased in girls. by Charles Lester | March 23, 2011 12:52 PM EDT I'm a little puzzled by the "correct"answer. Bullying is very common, yet "severe" suicidal ideation is not. So answer A does not seem plausible. |
