Psychiatric Disorders Associated With Suicide

Answer: D. Depression, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse are the 3 psychiatric disorders most often associated with suicide.* While suicide involves a constellation of factors, individuals facing personal, family, and socioeconomic crises are particularly susceptible to the overwhelming feelings of loss and shame that may lead to a suicide attempt.
