Today, we remember "What About Love in the Workplace." During the last few months, we have seen another resurgence of undue stress on health care and mental health care professionals, mostly as a result of the increased infectivity of the omicron variant. The increase in cases, again, is causing hospitals to be overwhelmed again, and that has in turn resulted in an increase in burnout and suicidality.

Moreover, there is evidence for increasing burnout in other workers and parents, as children are still at risk. How we can make systems better for workers is known; it just needs to be operationalized more.
