POETRY FOR INCLUSION

The current state of our country is in need of rapid resuscitation. Our countenances and souls have become cyanotic due to acrimony and hubris that is virulent. The ventilators that once helped humanity flow through our bodies without resistance appear to have become obsolescent.

I challenge all of us to awaken from our stupor with haste and be resurrected with the spirit of grace, mercy, and love.

I pray that this poem spurs reflection.

Pale America

Dehumanization kills

Love coalesces
