Social Anxiety in Adolescents

Although social anxiety can be difficult at any point across the lifespan, it can present a unique set of challenges during the teenage years.

In this pre-recorded podcast, Drs Anne Marie Albano and James Hambrick share their experience treating anxiety in youths and working with their families to help them confront these challenges head-on. This discussion offers guidance to adolescents and their families who might be struggling with the challenge of social anxiety.

Dr Albano is Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in Psychiatry at Columbia University and Director of the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders for Children (CUCARD), a specialty clinic in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Columbia University in New York City. Dr Hambrick is Clinician, Group Therapy Coordinator at CUCARD.
