APSARD is preparing US adult ADHD guidelines, delivering long-awaited screening, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations as experts discuss the upcoming release.

We know attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) persists beyond childhood and into adulthood, but we lack any existing guidelines in the United States for the diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD. A solution to this problem is coming.

The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD) recently shared that its US Adult ADHD Guidelines are almost ready to launch. These guidelines are intended to provide comprehensive recommendations for the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD in adults. Psychiatric Times, always at the forefront of breaking psychiatric news, recently spoke to APSARD president Brooke Molina, PhD, about their impending release.1 I highly encourage you to check out our interview.

We are committed, as always, to keeping you informed about the latest updates in psychiatric practice. Thank you for placing your trust in us for more than 4 decades.
