
An interview with Felice Jacka, OAM, PhD, on the rapidly developing field of nutritional psychiatry.

Dr Jacka is a distinguished professor at Deakin University and is internationally recognized as a leader in the rapidly developing field of nutritional psychiatry. She is the founder and past president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research. She is also the founder and director of the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University. Jacka is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher (2020-24), putting her in the top 0.1% of scientists worldwide. In addition to academic papers, she has published 2 books: Brain Changer and There’s a Zoo in my Poo. In 2021, she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (Queen’s honor) for her contributions to nutritional psychiatry.
