Fentanyl's Fatal Marketing Change

Fentanyl is now available in ways it was not before, which may lead to fatal outcomes.

Thomas R. Kosten, MD, shares more about fentanyl's new look. With more than 100,000 overdose deaths a year, here's why we need to combat the opioid epidemic now more than ever.

Dr Kosten is the Jay H. Waggoner Endowed Chair and co-founder at the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. He is also a professor of psychiatry, neuroscience, pharmacology, and immunology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
